The Association of Finnish pharmacies (AFP), founded in 1897, is a professional organization of proprietary pharmacists.

AFP supports and promotes high standards of ethical and professional competence in pharmacy services within the broader health sector. It also offers professional services, and provides training and communication services to its member pharmacies.

Database of the Pharmaceutical Preparation

AFP has maintained and produced information about medicinal products and their prices for pharmacies since 1907. Our database is based on information provided by authorities and on information from companies about prices and availability. It also meets the requirements for ePrescription. The quality assurance system for the database of the pharmaceutical preparations has been certified in accordance with ISO 9001.
